Our top 8 favourite tools for business owners!

Feeling a little overwhelmed and unorganised with all the to-do tasks that keep building up?

We totally get it!

As a business owner, it can be hard to stay on top of everything that needs to get done. What you need is some workflows & processes in place that are both effective AND time-saving.

Well, today is your lucky day, because we’re sharing with you our “must-have” tools that keep the wheels turning and make life as a business owner wayyyyy easier!

TRELLO

Your online task management application! Trello helps you manage all of your projects and to-do’s, and makes it so simple to collaborate with teammates or clients.

GRAMMARLY

Grammarly is a chrome extension that helps make your content clear, effective, and mistake-free! No more googling the difference between their, there & they’re 😂. If you struggle with grammar and spelling, this tool is perfect for you!

CANVA

Not a photoshop wiz? Canva is our favourite tool for creating graphic designs & documents! The drag-and-drop features and layout designs are super user-friendly, and there’s plenty of templates in-built that you can easily edit to suit your needs.

XERO

As accountants, we’ve tried a lottttt of different accounting software (jealous? 😂). We can happily report that Xero is the best one out there for small/medium-sized business owners. It’s really easy to navigate and has a handy mobile app so you can issue invoices, manage payments and reconcile transactions on the go!

It also syncs with nearly all of your favourite industry software; bring across those shopify sales without re-entering, monitor your stock levels, and sync with your square reader to track your income.

DROPBOX

Okay this one’s pretty well known already but we just had to include it in our list of favourite tools as it makes saving and sharing large files so easy!

PAYPAL

The easiest & fastest way to send and receive money!

LATER

Plan, schedule, and publish your social media posts from the one app. You can also connect multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook etc) which makes repurposing content fast & easy!

CALENDLY

Our go-to for scheduling calls and meetings. No more “What’s your schedule look like?” “I’m not free on that date, what about this date?” back and forth! Simply set up your availability, send your Calendly link to the person you want to meet with, and have them select a time that works for both of you. The call is automatically scheduled into your digital calendar of choice. Easy peasy!
