Top 7 Goal Setting Ideas Post COVID-19

2020 has been off to a rough start, but as restrictions loosen we have plenty of opportunities. We love a good bit of goal setting and planning here at Iron Advisory. We want to help you grow and improve your business and life.

Set out below are 7 great Goal setting ideas.

DECREASE DEBT LEVELS

Focus decreasing debt on two things. Non-deductible debt and the highest interest rate debt.

REDUCE ENERGY SPENT TO MAKE SOME MONEY

Look to cut those clients/customers that are hard work. You have limited hours in the day, ensure they are being spent where it makes a difference

MARKET SHARE INCREASE

The opportunities as we re-open are immense.

  • Some will be slow to re-open. Giving you an opportunity to capitalize.

  • Other competitors won’t reopen. Leaving customers un-serviced in the marketplace.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Post COVID-19 people are looking for opportunities in their local community. Ensure you are reaching out to other local businesses. Find another local business to team up with.

INCREASE SKILLS/TEAM LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Business is likely to look different in post COVID-19. Think now about what you could do should another pandemic occur. Do you need to shift to a partial online model? If so what additional skills do you need to work on to ensure that you can change your business model.

If you cannot reach your customers normally, what other ways can you reach them? Increase your social media, run online events. Ensure you keep your customers engaged with newsletters and email.

DEVELOP COST SAVINGS IN YOUR PRODUCTS

When did you last review your suppliers? Could you get better pricing from them? As other businesses drop out of the market. There will be many access to previously unavailable producers/manufacturers.

SWITCH FROM PURE TIME FOR SERVICE TO A HYBRID MODEL.

Do you run a time-based model? One-on-One with clients or charge by the hour.. Have you looked at creating any of the following

  • Course content

  • Group course

  • High end coaching

These are just a few things to work on as the world around us changes.
